Plato Hydrometers with Thermometer
VEE GEE Scientific Plato Hydrometers with Thermometer are calibrated to measure the concentration of extract as a percentage by weight in brewery wort. The Plato scale is used primarily in brewing, with readings taken at 20°C. For example, a 5°P reading indicates 5 grams of extract per 100 grams of wort. Each hydrometer includes an integrated thermometer to help ensure accurate temperature corrections. Various Plato ranges are available to suit different brewing needs.
